Had an enjoyable time performing at the first Clunk event this week in musical collaboration with Samuel Freeman, Scott McLaughlin and Eilon Morris alongside some physical improvisors from Huddersfield. Was an interesting evening and I understand then intend to do more events which should be great.

Experience of playing with the physicals improvisors has made me aware as to the importance of rapid gesture availability and the tendency towards shorter form gesture. As a consequence of this I opted to perform with a Dr Pepper Bottle, 2 plastic cups and a tray. This setup allows me rapid access to a rich variety of sounds while offering an observable performance and also an interesting progression due to the instrument fatigue.
