Facebook Social Plugin for Dokuwiki

Is a dokuwiki plugin which makes it easy to include Facebook box comment and like plugins on a dokuwiki site quickly and easily.

How easily you just need to type or and the syntax plugin does all the rest of the work.

Is my first ever dokuwiki plugin I have released publicly so expect a couple of quick revision after I get some feedback.

Hope people find it useful and if you don't know of Dokuwiki it is an easy to use powerful wiki platform that does not need a SQL database.

Blog Distractions

So allowing my distractions to overwhelm me I have started two new blogs.

The first one blog.inclusiveimprov.co.uk is the blog for the inclusive improv. Will be a mix of improv related things, admin for ii stuff and hopefully an easier way to communicate. It will also generate a better kind of rss feed than the wiki site.

Also supporting a wiki is the new blog for livecoding.co.uk you can read it at blog.livecoding.co.uk. Intend it to be a blog about live coding in general with some reference to the live coding videos on the site. Incidentally if you have not checked out livecoding.co.uk you should do.

And as exciting as all that is after deciding not to establish my own form of currency I have another project for the rest of the week. More on that soon.

Finally late night icmc gig at the City Winery followed up by walk back through Times Square.

New York ICMC 2010 Monday

Arrived at the International Computer Music Confrence 2010 in New York very excited to be back in New York and looking forward to the presentations and concerts to come.

Had an enjoyable meal in Little Korea and a trip to times square as well, all good� and the Hotel Pennsylvania is all right though a bit dated inside and with a shower for short people.

Happening this week.

Wednesday 10th March miniWofS at Huddersfield University including a performance of my most recent composition Monome Swirls and an untitled experiment by Adam Jansch.

Then I am performing at Interlace a series of concerts curated by Sebastian Lexer, Saturday the 13th March, Goldsmiths College London.

And as if that was not enough the latest inclusive improv podcast was just released 'WofS so far' presented by myself.

Going to be a busy week.

ChucK at the MSP Power User Symposium

Currently working on a presentation about ChucK for some Max/MSP power users at the Huddersfield Uni GEMdays festival. Will be fun being the odd person out and there are a lot of other interesting presenters including,

� Oli Larkin will talk about some of his latest work, including new effects designs and externals.

� Alex Harker will discuss recent approaches to making complex and dynamic patches in MaxMSP - strategies include the development of reusable and reliable externals for MaxMSP.

� Dave Bessell will talk about convincing physical models for real time performance in Max/msp, with some illustrations from his piece Ophidian, for flute physical model.

� P.A. Tremblay will talk about his use of ftm-based concatenative synthesis (Diemo Schwartz's CataRT) in the design of his new laptop+bass instrument Sandbox#3.

The event is free, it is in the Creative Arts Building at the University of Huddersfield, at 1pm on Saturday 30th January. As part of GEMdays.
