Yesterday I went to the Marsden Flickr meetup – had a great time though I had completely the wrong lens on when the heron flew past us.

This was one of my favorite shots from the photo walk.

You can see more of the group pictures here.

This morning my G1 google phone received the over the air cupcake release.

Looks good, loads of subtle design changes and feels a bit quicker.

The big news there is now an on screen keyboard easy to use and with word completion.

Apart from my google chat shortcut breaking everything else looks fine.

Ian

Has a successful shot with a saxophone player but wish I owned at fast long lens.

Jay and Liz who I play with in The Simon Street Quartet had an album launch for one of there other musical venture, Quiet Rebellion.

Was a great gig for a great album in a great venue, the Grove Inn Leeds.

Was asked to shoot some photos really dark room and very crowded was really tough so these where the best I did.

Enjoyed another Inclusive Improv session this week and did not even played just listened.

However it did remind me that I really need a fast long focal length as 50mm just was not long enough.
