So I have an excuse for my current absence from here as I am currently without internet at home due to moving house and Virgin taking ages to reconnect me. Apparently they have to disconnect the no longer present tenants service before they can connect mine so should be online at home later this week.

So back soon…..

So after slightly longer than intended I have decided to continue my personal podcast as a weekly show.

Though to be clear my intention is to do a show a week, though it wont be weekly.

You can listen to or download the show online at podcast.scotthewitt.co.uk.

Hi all, once again my blog has kind of slipped off my radar but I am still here with a load of half written posts.

Excuse for this absence are, a return to teaching at Huddersfield University, a draft deadline for my PhD (December), my podcast and all the other podcasts, oh and the fact I am getting ready to move house.

So all quite exciting…

In exchange for your on going patience I will point you to this incredible song, David Rovics – Behind the Barricades.

Normal service will resume soon.

So while I have no personal insight to offer or experience it feels appropriate to mention the passing of Steve Jobs here.

While originally an Atari user, then a Windows user and now a Mac user I have alway admired the commitment to great products, technology and risk taking of Apple Company due in no small part I presume to the leadership of Steve Jobs.

So my CreativePact is half way through and I am yet to miss a podcast though it has got close a few times. I have found the daily podcast challenging to do but fun, though at times the content could have been better.

While my daily podcast has sucked in most of the content I would normally blog about I have managed to integrate my Twitter activity in with this blog. Don’t worry you are not about to be swapped by Tweets, rather my Tweets and @ replies will be slotted into my archives as posts so they should not appear in the rss feeds or on the main page.

I though it would be cool to bring them into the blog as often I found that conversation on Twitter is either the cause or caused by a blog post and it would be good to record that information.

Of course I would suggest that you follow me on Twitter @scotthewitt so you can get involved.
